About us

Francesco Pantaleone Contemporary Art was founded in 2013 with the aim to maintain two privileged observation points regarding contemporary art: local and international. For over ten years the gallery has been located in the Vucciria area, in the very heart of the historical Palermo market. Right now it is located at the Quattro Canti, the noble city center and preserves its initial mission with a wide and cross-sectional program. The gallery represents established artists such as Stefano Arienti, Per Barclay, Letizia Battaglia, Liliana Moro and Assume Vivid Astro Focus; mid-career ones such as Stefania Galegati, John Kleckner e Loredana Longo and emergent like Ignazio Mortellaro, Keiran Brennan Hinton.  In 2017 Francesco Pantaleone opened the second gallery venue in Milan, in Porta Romana area, with the purpose to offer to its artists, to the public and to collectors a second display in the north of Italy, developing even more what has been built over the years in Palermo. Each exhibition project is – in some respects – tied to the territory in which is born and endowed with a specific nature, even considering its local public. Consequently, the two venues of the gallery allow its identity and curatorial projects to spread.
